General Pool Safety Signs:
Display a “No Diving” sign at all pools less than 5-1/2 feet deep. The sign shall read “NO DIVING” with minimum 3-inch lettering.
Post a “Warning – No Lifeguard On Duty” sign at pools and spas where lifeguard service is not required and not provided. The sign shall be in clearly legible letters at least 3-inches high. The sign shall also state that children may not use the pool without an adult in attendance.
Spa Safety Sign:
A spa warning sign shares precautions for spa patrons. Arkansas requires a version of the language below on a hot tub warning sign.
CAUTION:
Elderly persons, pregnant women, persons using prescription medications, and those suffering from heart disease, diabetes, or high blood pressure should consult a physician before using the spa pool.
No person suffering from a communicable disease, transmissible via water, shall use the spa pool.
Individuals under the influence of alcohol should not use the spa pool.
No person shall use the spa pool alone.
Persons should spend no more than 15 minutes in the spa at any one session.
All children under 14 years of age shall be accompanied by an adult.
No running or horseplay in or around the spa pool.

Recommended Pool Rules
The State of Arkansas recommends the following rules for pools and related facilities:
All persons should take a shower before entering the water.
Running or boisterous play is not allowed on the deck.
Glass articles, sharp metal objects, and other hazardous objects are not allowed.
Pets or any animals are not allowed in the enclosure except for service animals for the physically impaired.
Persons with contagious or infectious health conditions are not permitted to patronize the pool.
Games, tubes, and other water play equipment can be allowed with permission of the management and if properly supervised.
An adult must accompany minors under the age of 12.
Children under the age of 7 shall require the presence of a parent or guardian. Non swimmers of any age must not enter the deep area.

Street clothes and shoes are not allowed in the water. Children should not be allowed in the pool or wading pool with disposable diapers unless covered with plastic pants.

Use of the pool by persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited.
The management has the right to ask any patron to leave for non-compliance with the above rules.
